Detailed Description: 3M Fibrlok™ II Universal optical fiber splice has engineering thermoplastic with aluminum alloy element and index matching gel for durability. It provides a precise, simple and low cost method of splicing optical fiber. It accommodates fiber of diameter 125µm and has coating of diameter 250 or 900µm. The mean insertion loss is less than 0.1 dB and return loss is less than 40 dB. Splice measures 0.250 Inch x 0.150 Inch x 1.500 Inch. It operates at temperature range of -40 to 75 deg C. Splice has tensile strength of 4.4 N.
