Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier water-tight sealant is ready-to-use and offers superior performance that also acts as a barrier to water leakage and airborne sound transmission. It offers up to 4-hour fire protection and comes in light gray color with black flecks without need of mixing. Sealant is L-rated smoke seal and minimizes noise transfer. It is a sag-resistant, halogen-free formulation for user safety and convenient use.

Sealant can applied with conventional caulking equipment that offers excellent adhesion and caulk rate. It has superior weather-ability during construction and is re-enterable/repairable. Sealant is firestop tested up to 4 hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) & CAN/ULC S115 and fire resistance tested for static construction joint systems in accordance with ASTM E 1966 (UL 2079). Sealant is well suited for use with CPVC piping and comes in 10.1 fluid oz cartridge. Sealant meets UL Water Leakage Test, W Rating - Class 1 requirements.
