Detailed Description: 3M Electro products 3100 Series Mining cable splice kit is designed for adaptable conduit and jacket repair. It is suitable for use on three 6 AWG - 500 kcmil sized mine cables, portable cables, Type SHD-GC, MPF-GC and MPF that can withstand a voltage range of 5 - 15 kilo-Volts. Splice kit includes 2228 mastic tape, two CC-2 cable cleaning preparation kit, two shielding tape 31, three 130C splicing tape, three semi-conducting tape 13, three shielding tape 24 and 1700P electrical tape.
