Detailed Description: 3M 5810 Series Industrial loadbreak elbow kit is designed for connecting 5 - 15 kilo-Volts underground cable to transformers and to use on tape shield, wire shield, unishield as well as jacketed concentric neutral types of power cables. It includes elbow body, coppertop compression connector, tin plated copper loadbreak probe with an ablative arc-follower tip, probe installation tool, silicone lubricant, cold shrink jacketing tube, three mastic strips, ground braid assembly, constant force spring, CC-3 cable cleaning pads, stainless steel reinforced pulling-eye and a capacitive test point, installation instructions, cable adapter. Loadbreak elbow is molded with high quality peroxide-cured EPDM insulation. Elbow kit has fully shielded and insulated plug-in separable connector. Kit can be used for cable insulation diameter range of 0.495 - 0.585 inches. It has a current rating of 200 Amps.

Kit can be used for connecting shielded power cables to loadbreak bushings. Elbow connector and bushing insert encompass the necessary components of all loadbreak connections. Aluminum crimp barrel is inertia-welded to a copper lug that ensures a reliable, tight, cool operating connection with the loadbreak probe. Elbow connector accepts 1/0 - 2/0 AWG stranded, 2/0 AWG compact/solid at 5 kilo-Volts, 1 - 1/0 AWG stranded, 1/0 AWG compact/solid at 8 kilo-Volts and 4 AWG stranded at 15 kilo-Volts with 100% insulation. Elbow connector accepts 1 - 1/0 AWG stranded, 1/0 AWG compact/solid at 5 kilo-Volts and 2 AWG stranded, 2 - 1 AWG compact/solid at 8 kilo-Volts with 133% Insulation. Kit meets ANSI/IEEE standards.
