Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier sealant in red color helps reduce sound transfer and is firestop tested up to 4 hours. It is applied with conventional caulking equipment and fire resistance tested for static construction joint systems. Sag-resistant fire barrier sealant is re-enterable for convenience and comes in 2 gal pail. High performance firestop sealant is intumescent and latex-based for optimum protection. It has setting time of 10 - 15 minutes and prevents the spread of fire, smoke and noxious gas. Halogen free sealant features a tensile strength of 85 psi and offers exceptional adhesion. It operates at a temperate of 40 to 122 deg F. Paintable sealant is UL listed and meets ASTM E 814 standards.
