Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier sealant in red color helps reduce sound transfer and is firestop tested up to 4 hours. It is applied with conventional caulking equipment and fire resistance tested for static construction joint systems. Sag-resistant fire barrier sealant is re-enterable for convenience and comes in 5 gal pail. High performance firestop sealant is intumescent and latex-based for optimum protection. Halogen free sealant offers exceptional adhesion and prevents the spread of smoke when properly installed. Paintable sealant is UL listed and meets ASTM E 814 standards.
