Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier putty sleeve kit includes two-part metallic sleeve that measures 1 Inch diameter x 12 Inch and a set of two-part metallic flanges that measure 3-3/8 Inch x 3-3/8 Inch. Kit is great for high traffic cable penetrations and allows installation of new as well as retrofit data/telecom cable firestop. Sleeves can be easily installed in openings that are either tight to the sleeve or irregular. Kit can be mounted to gypsum walls, concrete walls and floors for convenience. It helps prevent the passage of fire and smoke in new or existing cable penetrations through walls or floors. This kit may be used as a one-piece sleeve or the sleeve could be split/hinged for existing cable installations. Putty sleeve kit is tested up to four hours for fire-rated through penetration systems in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) standards.
