Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier sealant in yellow color helps reduce sound transfer and is firestop tested up to 3 hours. It is applied with conventional caulking equipment and fire resistance tested for static construction joint systems. Sag-resistant fire barrier sealant is re-enterable for convenience and comes in 4.5 gal pail. It features a tensile strength of 85 psi and offers exceptional adhesion. It produces mild odor and can be easily cleaned up with water. It prevents the spread of smoke when properly installed and is suitable for use with CPVC piping. Paintable sealant is UL listed and meets ASTM E 814 standards.
