Detailed Description: 3M Fire barrier pass-through device is red colored and features prominent 3M logos for easy identification as a fire-rated device during inspection. Device is used in electrical, data communication or plumbing systems in fire-rated wall or floor assemblies. Penetrants include 750 kcmil, cat 6, fiber optic, 300 pair 24 AWG copper telephone cable, thermostat cables, ccPVC, PVC, ENT, CPVC, FRPP, PVDF, ccABS, ABS, rigid non-metallic, PEX plastic pipes, copper/steel/iron/flexible gas metal pipes and insulated AB/PVC on copper line sets. Device is great for electrical, data and communication applications. Re-enterable firestop device can be used for blank openings, single- or multiple penetrants in new or retrofit construction. It allows quick creation of the penetration opening with hole saw, masonry dry core bit or concrete wet core bit. It measures 4 Inch diameter x 10 Inch. Device is UL classified under L rating and is firestop tested for up to three hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) standards.
