Detailed Description: McGill Protect-O-sleeve in clear color is made of polycarbonate and suitable for existing fluorescent tubes insulates. It improves lighting efficiency at low temperatures and is re-usable. It has high tensile polycarbonate strength that offers protection to people/property. Sleeve is perfect for application that requires UV light filtering and where fluorescent lighting can deteriorate materials such as museums/art galleries. Sleeve comes with two end caps that fits securely between lamp/sleeve and is capable of insulating lamps up to 2.5 times at -6 deg C. It is suited for use with F28 T5 lamps that are 46-Inch long. Sleeve accommodates lamps of current rating 800 milli-Amps, temperature rating of 38 deg C. Sleeve meets OSHA safety requirements.
