Detailed Description: Bussmann Low-Peak® Class L time delay fuse is used for providing overload and short circuit protection in high capacity systems such as mains/large feeders. Fuse has voltage rating of 600 VAC, 300 VDC and current rating of 4500 Amps. It has interrupting current rating of 300 kilo-Amps at DC voltage and 100 kilo-Amps at AC voltage that helps for safer operation of electrical devices. It has time delay of 4 seconds at 500 % rated current, perfect for device that draws large current above rated value such as motor.

Low voltage fuse with current limiting action reduces need of bus bracing in the event of a short circuit condition. It has O-ring seals to maximize pressure build-up during current limiting action and ensure filler retention. It uses high-grade silica sand filer for faster response to quench arc. Fuse contains silver links at both ends for better conductivity with low power loss. It is enclosed in a melamine glass tube and has silver plated end bells. It measures 6.250 Inch x 10.750 Inch. Fuse is UL listed and CSA certified.
