Size: 0.750 Inch x 1.880 Inch
Selective coordination ratio of 2:1 (within low-peak fuse family) prevents electrical shutdowns from extending beyond the failed circuit
The indicating version features open fuse technology for faster troubleshooting and reduced downtime
No venting of arc or molten metal and gases during opening
Robust cycling and inrush current withstand
Low let through currents under fault conditions
Detailed Description:
Bussmann Low-Peak® Class J Finger-Safe fuse is rated at 600 VAC/300 VDC/1 Amp. It has an interrupt current rating of 300 kilo-Amps at 600 VAC/100 kilo-Amps at 300 VDC. It features dual-element construction with a minimum of 10 seconds time-delay at 500% of rated current providing ultimate protection. The long time-delay fuse reduces circuit openings due to temporary overloads and transient surges. It measures 0.750 Inch x 1.880 Inch. Dual-element fuse can be used as a time-delay or a slow-blow fuse making it economical.
Fuse provides a faster response to minimize destructive thermal and magnetic forces. Fuse offers low watt loss power consumption and has robust cycling that can withstand inrush current. Low voltage fuse is suitable for branch circuit disconnect and branch circuit protection. It finds application in electrical panelboards, industrial control, machinery disconnects and required finger safe systems. Finger-Safe fuse is UL listed/CSA certified/CE compliant and meets IEC requirements.
