Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds EFDC Series 1-Gang Explosion proof enclosed circuit breaker is ideal for branch circuit applications such as lighting, appliance and motor circuits. It is also used to provide disconnect means, short circuit protection and thermal time delay overload protection. It features body and cover made of iron alloy with electro galvanized and aluminum acrylic paint for corrosive locations. It features 3/4-Inch feed through hub that allows for surface mounting on cover and is back wired for easy installation. It is equipped with small, compact enclosure with accurately ground wide flanges on both the body and cover for a flame-tight joint.

The 1-Pole circuit breaker comes with durable 6/6 nylon operating handle and stainless steel operating shafts for reliable operation. It can be padlocked in ON/OFF positions with trip-free handle mechanism. It is suitable for installation in hazardous environments such as petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants due to the presence of flammable vapors, gases or combustible dusts.
