Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds XC Series explosion-proof electric heater without built-in room thermostat features a sloped-top cabinet to prevent objects that restrict airflow from being set on top. It has a corrosion-resistant design without exposed copper or brass, which is suitable for H2S environments. The 14-gauge steel cabinet offers rugged reliability and radial-embossed aluminum plate fins warp less for better heat transfer. This heater has a power rating of 1.8 kilo-Watts and BTU rating of 6146 BTU.

This electric heater is suitable for natural gas plants, petroleum refineries, gasoline storage and dispensing areas, wastewater treatment plants, areas that use flammable liquids for cleaning parts in dip tanks, petrochemical plants, paint spraying areas, aircraft hangars, fuel servicing areas, hydrogen fuel cell and battery storage facilities.
