Easy Heat MSG-1 Gutter Moisture Sensor; 24 Volt AC, 500 Milli-Amp

Detailed Description: Easy Heat Gutter moisture sensor is designed to detect moisture on roofs and in gutters. It is made by the sensing grid on the bottom on the MSG-1 housing. The MSG housing allow to sit directly in the gutter and the sensor wire is secured to the roof. The combination roof and gutter detection system helps to provide quick detection of potentially damaging roof and gutter icing conditions. MSG-1 sends a signal to the MSC-1 to energize de-icing cables while if moisture is detected.

Sensor operates on low voltage provided by the MSC-1 control unit and has 10 ft of wire for connection back to the MSC-1 as well as mounting hardware. The MSG-1 connection wire may be extended up to 500 ft with an appropriately rated 18 - 20 AWG 3 wire unshielded stranded cable. It includes six coated clips, one mounting screws and coated strapping suitable to detect moisture.

Sensor operates at working/storage temperature of -40 to 70 deg F. It consumes power supply voltage of 24 VAC and produces a maximum current of 500 milli-Amps.
