Detailed Description: Cooper Lighting Halo® Recessed 5-Inch LED housing has durable single wall aluminum construction for heat dissipation. It is compatible with Halo RL56/RL7 LED retrofit modules and ML56 LED downlighting system of LED light modules/trims. Housing is IC rated and designed for use in insulated ceilings for added safety and protection. AIR-TITE certified ASTM-E283 housing blocks infiltration and exfiltration of air and reduces heating and cooling price. Housing is used in residential application.

Housing has LED connection with non-screw base to maintain the high efficacy rating of the luminaries. Gasketed housing avoids airflow from heated or air conditioned spaces. Junction box has wiring connectors for easy connectivity. Housing is used in 2 Inch x 8 Inch joist construction with 1/2-Inch or 5/8-Inch ceiling. It measures 7-1/2 Inch x 5.250 Inch. Housing is UL/cUL listed.
