Detailed Description: Federal Signal SelecTone® Hazardous location audible signaling device delivers crisp, clear tones, digital voice messages in harsh environments amidst high ambient noise levels. It produces tone of 110 dB at 10 ft and has a voltage rating of 120 VAC/DC. The speaker cone and projector are made of lightweight spun aluminum. The die-cast aluminum housing holds internal circuitry, gain control and tone module. Gaskets included are resistant to dust, moisture and all surfaces are sealed with powder-coat paint for resistance against corrosion.

Speaker amplifier can be used individually or as part of a plant-wide emergency notification system. A connector kit can be installed into each speaker amplifier and wired to a central controller for plant-wide signaling. It finds applications in public address, process control signaling, start and dismissal, plant evacuation and emergency warning. It measures 7.900 Inch x 8.500 Inch x 12.400 Inch. It is UL listed for Class I, division 2, Groups A, B, C and D, Class II, division 2, Groups F & G and Class III. Speaker amplifier has been designed, tested as well as approved for use in Type 3R applications.
