Detailed Description: Greenlee® Quick connect stubby wood auger bit is used for drilling 2.000-Inch as well as 4.000-Inch joists and wood. It has a bit diameter of 7/8 Inch with a hexagonal shank of 1/4-Inch diameter and overall length of 4-1/2 inches. It has a unique cutting edge design for fast, smooth cutting action and a center single flute design for cleaner holes and less splintering. Auger has self-feeding screw point that draws bit through all wood types with less operator fatigue and eliminates the need of special tools such as expensive right angle drills or multiple steps to cut the hole.
