It has high quality hex shank to ensure strong connection for drill chuck and has NC type size of 3/8-16 thread. Uncoated finish bit is designed to tap up to 10 gauge mild steel, copper, brass and aluminum metals. It contains quick-change adaptor in standard length, long length, metric and standard kits. Bit has a shank size of 1/4 Inch and is ideal for hole drilling, tapping and deburring/countersinking applications. It includes back tapered beyond the tap to prevent thread damage from over-drilling.
