Detailed Description: Hubbell Wiring HBL® 2-Pole 2-Position Extra heavy-duty industrial grade locking switch in ivory color has back/side wiring and key guide. It has sturdy steel/nickel plated bridge for resistance from corrosion and wear resistant nylon toggle. It comes with a thread cleaning captive mounting screw and strip gauge for accurate wiring. The large silver alloy contacts of the switch reduce contact erosion for long life and a dot indicates ON. Switch with snap action has one-piece rivetless copper alloy spring contact arm and terminal plate that insures a proper contact alignment. The one-piece bridge with integral grounding terminal that can accommodate size 8 brass screw provides a low resistance ground path. It is designed for inductive or resistive load with full rated contact rating. Switch with double ended key guide actuator has back wire entrance points for terminations that can accommodate two wires for feed through capability and avoid pigtailing. It has large brass binding head screws with deep slots to secure wire connections and has a life of 50000 operating cycles. It has automatic grounding clip made of stainless steel that assures grounding continuity between mounting strap and metal wall box. It is rated at 15 Amps, 120/277 VAC, 4155 Watts, 1/2, 2 hp and operates at -40 to 75 deg C. Switch is UL listed and CSA certified.
