Detailed Description: Hubbell Wiring Insulgrip® 3-Pole 4-Wire Watertight connector has valox housing and shroud made of epoxy painted high strength aluminum material to enhance conductivity. Connector is compatible for high ampacity connection applications. It has style I grounding and reserved service style. Plug is rated at 250 VDC / 600 VAC and 100 Amps. Connector accommodates all portable cords with 4 - 2 AWG copper wires. It is cord mountable. Connector has 1.100 - 1.650-Inch cord clamp range. It features contact container and retainer made from thermostat polyester material to protect from electrical and thermal insulation. Connector has ground pins that features a clean brass construction to resists corrosion and provides superior contact with low electrical resistance. It has cord clamps screws, spring guide, spring washer, springs, arms and wave made from stainless steel to prevent rusting.

Connector features heat treated and zinc plated steel terminal screws. It is provided with gasket and grommet made of neoprene to adapt for extreme condition operation. Connector features cord clamps and glad cap made of rynite for great strength. Connector has nickel plated spring bronze ground bracket for added convenience. It is provided with hinge bushing made of high strength aluminum. Connector can withstand 3000 VAC dielectric voltage. It has an operating temperature of -40 to 75 deg C without impact and -25 to 75 with impact. Connector is UL listed.
