Detailed Description: Ideal Thermo-Shrink® Ratio heat shrinkable end cap is made of thermally stabilized cross-linked polyolefin and is coated with specially designed hot melt adhesive to ensure environment seal. It creates watertight seal to protect the ends of power and control cords. It effectively offers protection against oxidation, ozone, UV radiation and other harmful environmental conditions. End cap fits cable of size 0.200 - 0.470 Inch easily and protects up to 1000 Volts rated power cables. It is recommended for both open air and underground power distribution cables that uses PVC, lead or XLPE sheaths. It operates within temperature range of range of -55 to 110 deg C.

End cap has 1.05 g/cm.cube for strong bonding, dielectric strength greater than 15 kV/mil and tensile strength greater than 14 MPa. It measures 0.550 Inch diameter x 3 Inch. End cap can be elongated up to 400% of the original size and has volume resistance of 10^14 Ohm/cm. It has wall thickness of 0.079-Inch for providing excellent fluid resistance. End cap elongates up to 300% of the original size after aging at 150 deg C for about 168 hours.
