Detailed Description: Buchanan B-TAP® Insulation-piercing tap connector accommodates a main conductor of size 750 MCM-3/0 AWG and a tap conductor of size 10 - 14 AWG. It has a voltage rating of 600 Volts and is dual-rated at 90 deg C. It eliminates the need for split bolts/tape and enables two minutes installation with ease. It is installed on energized systems and eliminates costly power shutdowns. Connector features self-sealing, grease-filled end-cap that ensures safe and weather-tight connection. It has unique turbo spacer that keeps connector wide open for quick/easy installation and has torque-regulating nut that breaks off when proper tension is reached. It measures 2.200 Inch x 2.500 Inch x 3.700 Inch. Connector has an insulation piercing teeth and is self-insulating/weather-proof. It has breakaway bolt that ensures correct torque. It requires only box/socket wrench. Connector meets CSA/UL standards.
