Detailed Description: Ilsco Ground grid tap connector is made of high strength copper alloy to provide maximum conductivity and eliminate possible corrosion. It measures 0.750 Inch x 2.100 Inch. It can hold ground rod of diameter 1/2 - 5/8 Inch. It can accommodate main conductor ranging from 250 kcmil - 1/0 AWG, tap conductor ranging from 250 kcmil - 3/0 AWG and 3 AWG rebar. It is distinctly marked with wire size and has a die index number of 997 for easy identification and tooling recommendation. It has voltage rating of 600 Volts and temperature rating of 90 deg C. Tap connector is filled with oxide inhibiting compound and ensures reliability. It is ideal for direct burial applications and used as a lap splice connector. Connector is UL listed and CSA certified.
