Detailed Description: Klein VDV Commander test and tone kit includes one VDV Commander™ tester, one PROBEplus tone tracing probe, one Test-n-Map™ ID remote, 20 LanMap™ RJ45 location ID remotes, 20 CoaxMap™ F-Connector location ID remotes, one test cable from micro USB to USB A, one 9-Inch test cable for universal RJ12 jumper, one 9-Inch test cable for RJ45 jumper, one coax adapter for F-F female barrel, six AA alkaline batteries and a carrying case. It uses test-n-map ID remotes for single-end cable testing or complete two-end cable testing and to test or identify location in one step. It features multiple style tone generator that is capable of sending a tone on a single conductor, a conductor pair or over all conductors. Kit includes required PROBEplus tone tracing probe.

Test and tone kit is designed for locating, testing and measuring coaxial, data and telephone cables. It identifies wiring faults including miswire, open, short, split-pair, reverse-pair and verify shielding. It measures cable length or distance to a fault using time domain reflectometry technology and also measures paired-conductor cables up to 1500 ft with an accuracy of up to +/-5% and 1 ft per 0.3 m. Kit performs active network Ethernet testing to detect capabilities and connection speeds. It visually identifies a hub or switch and locate cable runs with link light. Kit locates and identifies cables with location ID remotes, test-n-map ID remotes, link light and tone generator. Kit also detects, identifies and tests the presence of power over Ethernet.
