Detailed Description: Leviton Standard style fusion splice sleeve features 302 stainless steel strength member, polyolefin copolymer inner tube and polyolefin outer tube for convenient fiber alignment. Splice sleeve offers inert fungus resistance, solvent resistance and superior acid resistance. It contains precise lengths that free from burrs and sharp edges. Splice sleeve has 650% outer tube/700% inner tube elongation and 0.05% water absorption. It comes with clear outer tube to provide viewing fiber color.

Sleeve splice has melting point of 80 deg C, minimum shrink temperature rating of 95 deg C and shrink time of 90 seconds. It is designed for use with fiber enclosures. Splice sleeve has temperature rating of -55 to 135 deg C and ultimate strength of 220 kg/Sq.cm. It is 60 mm long and has heat bonded assembly for convenient use. It has outer tube/inner tube specific gravity of 0.95 and 0.93. Fusion splice sleeve meets MIL-I-23053/5 Class 2 and Bellcore GR-1380 standards.
