Detailed Description: Lithonia 5-Inch Recessed housing features three remodel clips for installation in existing plaster, sheet rock or mechanical ceiling. It measures 11-1/2 Inch x 6-1/8 Inch x 7-1/2 Inch. It is intended to use only in remodel constructions. It features heavy-gauge galvanized steel raceway arm. Junction box is made of durable galvanized steel has built in romex clamps to protect wire from sharp edges of knockout hole. It features five 1/2 Inch knockouts with slots for pryout and not suitable for pulling wires. Housing is sold as 6 per pack.

Incandescent housing features removable junction box doors for easy access. It has durable medium base porcelain socket with panel plated copper alloy screw shell and contact. Socket clips to top of housing to prevent paint overspray and it attaches to reflector to ensure proper and consistent lamp position. Socket is ideal for 120 Volts lamp and is thermally protected against improper lamp usage.

Air-tight housing is suitable for air-installations and best suits for 2 Inch x 8 Inch wood joist or T-bar installation. Ceiling adjustment up to 1/2 Inch on housing allows for flush mounting with ceiling face. Incandescent housing is UL listed.
