Detailed Description: Midwest 3-Pole Heavy duty manual transfer switch ensures maintained power transfer from the normal utility-supplied source to a standby generator during utility outages. It provides break before make, double-throw mechanism to avoid hazardous generator power back feeding into the utility system. It is operational and switchable at full rated capacity to minimize severe damage and losses. It has voltage rating of 600 Volts and a current rating 400 Amps.

Switch has corrosion resistant G90 galvanized steel construction with polyester powder coated finish for chip and fade resistance. It measures 24 Inch x 9 Inch x 43.500 Inch. It features superior quality, tested components and knife blade contacts for high conductivity and enhanced durability. It conveniently accommodates NEMA 3R weatherproof enclosure. It is well suited for 1-Phase, 3-wire, switched neutral applications.

Switch has interlock and padlock features that allow door opening when the switch is in the OFF position. It has terminations that accommodate copper or aluminum wires. It is also provided with padlock in three ON-OFF-ON transfer positions for enhanced safety and protection of the user. It includes a NEU407 neutral kit along with concentric knockouts for easy installation. Switch is UL/cUSUL listed and CSA certified.
