Detailed Description: NSI Long barrel compression splice in red color is made from high conductivity copper tubing. It has a conductor size of 8 AWG. Barrel is tin-plated to offer better corrosion resistance. Serrations present on the barrel indicate actual crimp locations. Barrel can withstand temperatures up to 90 deg C. It measures 0.170 Inch inner diameter x 0.270 Inch outer diameter x 1.750 Inch. Bare splice has a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts. Barrel splice can be used up to 35 kilo-Volts provided connector is properly taped. The 1-Pole barrel copper splice can accommodate two conductors. Splice is UL listed.
