Detailed Description: Schneider Electric / Square D Modicon™ ASCII Serial link module is a fast and easy way to add two fully two non-isolated RS232C ASCII communication ports to the Modicon Quantum automation platform without using front port of the processor. It uses Unity Pro, ProWORX NxT, ProWORX 32 and Concept software of reliable operation. Two SUB-D 9 connectors provide electrical connection for module. It has 20-m long cable that transmits data at a rate of 19.2 kbps. Module has eight levels of message nesting and 255 bytes of buffer to display 255 messages with each having 127 characters. It has calendar clock for displaying time and date.

Module provides 128 kB of flash memory and 32 kB of RAM memory for storing/processing of data. Module requires 12 input and output words for addressing. Bus is in the module has current rating of 300 milli-Amps. It offers resistance of 10 Volts/meter to electromagnetic fields at frequency range 80 - 1000 MHz. Module operates at temperature rating of 0 to 60 deg C, stored at temperature rating of -40 to 85 deg C and works in environment that has relative humidity of 95%. Module is RoHS compliant.
