User selectable inputs
Eight point differential or sixteen point single-ended analog input module that accepts one of five voltage or three current ranges and converts them to binary logic level input signals, which are then used by Modicon programmable logic controllers that are compatible with the 800 series
Detailed Description:
Schneider Electric / Square D Analog input module has automatic calibration and supplies variable analog signal to facilitate connection of the controller. It is suitable for connecting voltage/current sensors, thermocouples, resistors, resistance thermometers and analog actuators. It has eight differential and 16 single ended user selectable channels for multiple device connection. It operates at variable voltage rating of -10 to 10 VDC, -5 to 5 VDC, 0 to 5 VDC, 1 to 5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC and variable current rating of -20 to 20 milli-Amps, 0 to 20 milli-Amps, 4 to 20 milli-Amps. It is provided with continuous communication monitoring, high resolution A/D converter and high speed analog conversion.
Module operates at a accuracy of +/- 0.1% for reliable operation and has resolution of 14 bit for easy reading. It has update time of 10 milli-seconds for 8 inputs and 20 milli-seconds for 10 inputs. Isolation voltage of module from channel to channel is 30 VAC and channel to module is 1500 VAC for 1 minute. Analog module requires one slot on rack for placement. The 8/16-Point analog input module meets ANSI and IEEE standards.
