Detailed Description: Schneider Electric / Square D 3-Pole Single throw heavy-duty safety switch employs quick-make, quick-break operating mechanism for positive operation. It has horsepower rating that is suitable for motor applications. Switch is ideal for commercial as well as industrial applications where maximum performance and continuity of service is important. It has voltage rating of 600 VAC/VDC, current rating of 30 Amps and short-circuit current rating of 200 kilo-Amps. It accommodates 14 - 6 AWG copper, 12 - 6 AWG aluminum wire. Fusible switch features color coded ON - OFF indicator handle and has visible blade for positive OFF indication. It comes with lugs connection for convenience. Heavy-duty switch has tangential combination knockouts and dual cover interlock that provides safety. Switch wire terminations are perfect for aluminum or copper conductors. The insulated, bonded solid neutral assemblies provide durability. Switch features spring reinforced plated copper fuse clips for high conductivity. It allows multiple padlocks with cover padlock hasp and handle lock-off provision. It offers over-current and short circuit protection when equipped with fuses. Switch works as service equipment when used with either a factory-installed solid neutral assembly or a field-installed equipment grounding kit. Safety switch is rainproof, dust tight and offers resistance to corrosion. It has 304 stainless steel NEMA 3/3R4/4X/12 enclosure for protection. Safety switch is UL listed.
