Detailed Description: Thomas & Betts Insulation piercing washer has 1/4-Inch bolt size and is made of sturdy copper with tin-plated finish. Transition washer features teeth on it that penetrates compounds to allow copper to aluminum connections to be made in a bolted joint. It accommodates the difference in thermal expansion between copper and aluminum to increase the efficiency of bolted grounding connections.
