Detailed Description: Thomas & Betts (T&B) Smart® Dieless hydraulic head is made of corrosion resistant forged steel for both field and bench work. It is designed to easily install up to 750 mcm aluminum, 900 mcm copper lugs and splices. It measures 14-1/2 Inch x 4-1/2 Inch x 2-1/2 Inch. It automatically compresses to the correct depth based on size of connector in jaws. C-type head allows to swivel 90 deg for easy crimp positioning. It operates on 10,000 psi hydraulic pressure and develops an output force of 11 tons. It installs both Color-Keyed® and non-insulated Sta-Kon® connectors.
