Detailed Description: Hoffman H2OMIT™ Vent drain is made of durable, corrosion-resistant polyester with a type 304 stainless steel sleeve for durability. It is used to drain out accumulated water and collected liquids from the bottom of an enclosure to minimize corrosion that can limit the life of internal electrical and electronic components. Vent drain can be used as an air pressure equalizer to minimize the harmful effects of temperature-induced vacuums that could pull water and moisture into the enclosure.

Vent drain can be used with mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel or non-metallic enclosures. It is included with a nut that can be installed in a 7/8-Inch hole in the bottom of enclosure or in a 1/2-Inch NPT/NPS threaded conduit hub. It measures 1.380 Inch outer diameter x 2 Inch. Drain is IP66 rated for use in hazardous locations. Vent drain is UL/cUL listed, CSA certified and meets NEMA/EEMAC/IEC standards.
